case study: clydesdale bank
Clydesdale Bank Exchange in Waterloo Street, in Glasgow’s financial district is one of the best current examples of how to make your customers feel at home
on your premises.
The new financial solutions centre stretches over three floors and 36,000 sq feet. The space is a work place for Clydesdales own employees but also has bookable and drop in space for customers.
This is designed to take the personal banking experience to another level. It is planned that this blueprint will be rolled out to around 30 other sites in the U.K.
It was considered of paramount importance, both for Clydesdales own staff and for their user clients that the best people to technology interface equipment must be used in the new environment.
The Cygnus arm was chosen as the flat screen monitor arm for the site. This offers the user complete, fingertip adjustability of the screen.
Desk top power was provided using the Harmony power unit. This gives the user desktop power provision for charging mobile phones etc at the desk.
