- Energy saved equates to a reduction of approximately 200kg of CO2 emissions per desk, per year
- The system incorporates standard desk power units with specifically designed electronics and software to shutdown desk electrics when not in use
- Includes up to six sockets and allows compliance with BS 6396
- This unit is quality tested and approved to BS 5733
- As soon as the mouse or keyboard are back in use the desk power comes back on
- The software with the system includes a graphic user interface (a small information window that can be viewed on screen) which shows a running total of the energy saved at the desk over time, in terms of kg CO2 emissions saved and kw per hour of electricity saved.
- The system has a master socket to power the CPU. This socket is permanently powered and will not shut down. The remaining five sockets in the system will shutdown when the CPU goes into stand by or when the mouse or keyboard have not been used for a set elapsed time (e.g. 15 minutes).
